Geoffrey Petis, founding member of Petis Law, LLC, focuses on personal injury matters, insurance disputes, real estate cases, and business law. He was previously an associate attorney at the Denver personal injury firm, Bachus & Schanker, and before that developed his litigation skills in the areas of personal injury, employment law, workers’ compensation, and misdemeanor criminal defense at another Denver law firm.
Petis has litigated cases in state trial and appellate courts and in federal courts, including a $1,000,000 insurance case and work on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion. He has lectured on the topic of personal injury and teaches young drivers about the dangers of distracted driving.
While at New England Law | Boston, Petis was a technical editor of the New England Law Review. The law school’s numerous clinical opportunities helped him discover his love of the courtroom.
