Shelley M. Richmond Joseph is a founder and principal of The Law Office of Joseph & Joseph where her practice concentrates in criminal defense.
She previously served as an assistant attorney general of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and as a special assistant Suffolk County district attorney, working with the Criminal Bureau and the Grove Hall Safe Neighborhood Initiative, a community crime-fighting partnership. She also was a prosecutor in the Business and Fair Labor Bureau as well as in the Family and Community Crimes Bureau in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. She has presented on “Women and Litigation” for the Massachusetts Association of Trial Attorneys and on “Innovative Jury Techniques” for the Massachusetts Bar Association.
During law school, she participated in the National Moot Court Competition. She has returned to New England Law | Boston as an adjunct faculty member, a mentor in the Bridge to Success Mentor Program, and a participant in the annual Alumni Career Forum.
