Gerald J. Jennings, former partner and head of the Government Investigations and Contracts practice at Wilson Elser, is a lobbyist and government affairs representative for Citigroup Washington, Inc.
At Wilson Elser, he assisted clients in navigating the intricacies of city, state, and federal governments; represented their interests before legislative and regulatory bodies; kept them informed of relevant legislation and other public policy initiatives in New York State; and represented them in licensing, applications, audit, and disciplinary processes and proceedings. He defended clients faced with government subpoenas, inquiries, and formal government investigations, and represented those with procurement matters before state and local governments.
Previously, he was managing director of the Albany office of an international law firm and a partner and general counsel at a lobbying firm in New York. He began his career as a state prosecutor in Florida.
While at New England Law | Boston, Jennings was captain of the National Mock Trial Competition team, which he led to the semifinal round in the Northeast Region.
