Tara N. Cho is a partner in privacy and data security with Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP.
Her practice focuses on privacy and data security issues across multiple industry sectors, with an emphasis on compliance risks and regulatory requirements for hospitals, nursing homes and home health providers, physician practices, pharmacies, device manufacturers, clinical research organizations, and other clients in the health care and pharmaceutical industries. She helps clients address privacy and data security requirements by establishing and evaluating compliance programs, responding to data breaches and security incidents, directing assessments, conducting risk analyses, drafting privacy policies, and negotiating contracts.
Cho also provides counsel on regulatory issues related to the development of mobile and Web-based applications, patient outreach programs, and other technology solutions that rely on personal information.
Cho was an active member of the New England Law | Boston community, serving as Student Bar Association president; president and co-founder of the law school chapter of the American Health Lawyers Association; and executive editor of Due Process, a student publication.
