Ana Cavazos is the assistant general counsel with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She assists in a wide range of legal matters and provides advice on general corporate law, including contracts/procurement, real estate, tax, and payments law. When she arrived at the Federal Reserve in 2008, she worked in supervision and regulation on the Wealth Management Team, responsible for analyzing complex wealth-management activities. Later, she joined the Retail Payments Risk Forum, where her focus was preparing specialized analysis on all aspects of emerging-payments risk, including regulatory compliance, security, privacy, and banking supervision and operations.
Previously, Cavazos served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur N. Votolato of the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island. During law school, she was an honors judicial intern.
