Law Clerk, Dedham District Court
New England Law Office of Admissions, Student Ambassador; New England Law Student Mentorship Program, Mentor
Class of 2019
One of the best experiences I’ve had at law school.
During my 2L fall semester I worked for the Public Interest Clinic, and I represented real clients in court before a judge. Although the experience frightened me, I was able to participate in something I only thought was possible after passing the bar exam.
My wife and I have been married for almost two years, and we are expecting our first baby in March 2018. The friends I made in my 1L year are extremely supportive and helpful, which allows me to prioritize my family obligations without falling behind.
One Piece of Advice for Someone Trying to Decide Where to Go to Law School
Treat the first year of law school as more than a full-time job, but do not abandon your family or friends. Study hard and be intentional so that when you recuperate you feel like you earned it.
