Professional Background

Christine Abely is a Faculty Fellow teaching Contracts & Corporate Compliance at New England Law. Abely has gained her experience working at a number of prominent Massachusetts law firms, serving as an associate focused on areas such as consumer financial service and insurance litigation. Most recently she's worked in international trade and sanctions law as Counsel at Middleton Shrull & Bock. 

Abely has published on topics that pique her interest in the field of international law. One of her most recent works 'Adjusting Pre- and Post-Judgment Interest Rates for Consumer Debt Collection Actions' was accepted to the 2020 National Business Law Scholars Conference.
