The New England Law Review rescheduled winter 2017 criminal book symposium will feature New York Times bestselling author and professor of law Alafair Burke of Hofstra Law School. The panel—comprised of professor Burke; Judge Michael Ponsor of the US District Court of Massachusetts; and Professor Peter Manus of New England Law | Boston—will take place on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 4:00–6:00 p.m. in the Cherry Room at New England Law | Boston. Topics for discussion will include Burke's recent novel, The Ex, and provide an in-depth look at how pop culture has been influenced by the art of writing novels that heavily involve the criminal justice system and its functions.
