Biography

Solo practitioner James D. Runzheimer represents individuals and small businesses in matters involving intellectual property, business law, real estate, and a wide range of practice areas, including business planning and litigation; collections; computer technology; contracts; creditor rights; employment; foreclosures; oil, gas, and mineral rights; pension plans; taxation; and wills, trusts, and estates.
 
Previously, he was a supervising tax specialist with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) in Boston. He has been a licensed certified public accountant in Texas since 1980.
 
His community contributions include serving as co-founder, past president, and director of Metro Technology Development Council, Inc.; and board member and treasurer of North Central Texas Interlink. He is the former director of the Center for Computer Assistance for the Disabled. While at New England Law | Boston, he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Business Planning.
